So bummed we had to move today's family session because of the rainy weather we are getting here in CT, so instead I'm staying warm and cozy inside editing a few collections from last weekend and getting set for a family portrait session tomorrow afternoon!
I took a pause this morning before diving into everything and called my Nana to catch up. Talking with her always puts my day in perspective and she tells me all the things that are going on in her life and I catch her up on things that are happening around here. She's a busy little 93-year-old lady, oh I love her so.
At the end of our conversation we were talking about life...I always perk up a bit waiting on her every word to resonate with me, to give me some extra perspective through her wisdom. "Goals are necessary at different parts of your life, they give you new energy", Ahhhh...new energy! From one day to the next, I find my goals are constantly changing and adjusting. Life is always shifting, always moving, and boy does it love to throw us those magical curve balls, always giving us new opportunities to make new decisions that could take us in a completely different direction. Life certainly keeps it all interesting and energizes me to keep pushing forward and moving in the direction of my dreams. I cherish our morning conversations, they always leave me so grateful and full of hope.
Now it's time to get back to work and focus. A full pot of coffee is on and I'm sporting my L.L.Bean slippers and cozy sweatpants. Looking forward to creating memories with a fabulous family tomorrow night and getting ready for three session consultations this week as we prepare for their upcoming family sessions!
