I know I’m going to say these two words and everyone reading
this is going to cringe. Even as I sit here typing these very words, I know full-well we don't want to hear it! I promise I'm
not trying to rush the final weeks of summer warmth, sun, beach, and ice cream eating! BUT...
It’s.
August.
AAHHHH!!…I know, I know!
But the good news is we still have over a month of summer still left to enjoy, even though we associate the end of summer with going back to school and getting back into a new routine. But let's not go there just yet!
I'm not quite busting out my apple cider candles just yet but I’m getting SO excited to be preparing for my fall sessions. Coming into the spring, I knew I wanted to improve on my client experience from last year. One important part of the experience is wrapped up in a custom welcome package that I carefully assemble, every knot, every punched hole, every word that's on these pages is something I've carefully thought through and personalized for our time together. I believe in the value of creating an experience that you will remember, one where you feel special.
For me, it’s not just about picking up my camera and shooting the day of our session.
For me, it’s about the months and days leading up that are so memorable.
It’s about getting to know you, your family, and your significant other.
It’s about understanding the dynamic within your family and your beautiful relationship as you prepare for your wedding day or for your new bundle of joy.
It’s about getting to know all the fun things your children love or the wonderful things your fiancé and spouse do to make you smile!
When I’m invited into your lives and become a part of preserving a piece of your family history surrounding a special time in your life, well, that is what truly makes my heart so happy. It's a relationship that I care about so deeply.

With September quickly approaching, I’ve been working on giving my custom welcome packets a little refresh...I mean who doesn't need a little refresh every now and then! I’ve
gone through all the details written on each page, replaced the older images of me with my new and improved headshots from my portrait session
with Tiffany Farley, and updated my signature front page with some of my most favorite images from this season. I definitely got a little sentimental looking back to April and remembering each and every moment from our sessions.
Believe me, I want nothing more than for the final weeks of summer to slow down and for fall to take its precious time to get here. But to say I’m looking forward to September and October full of sessions on the beach and apple orchards is an understatement!
