Saturday Morning Thoughts | Connecticut Family Photographer

As I sit here sipping my morning coffee listening to my Enya station on Pandora, before getting ready for my family session tonight, I am full of thoughts about life and the importance of seizing the moment.  My families teach me so much about being in the moment and living life with purpose.  It humbles me on a daily basis and grounds me in ways so deep within my heart.  Any time I meet with a new family and talk about their love story, it always leaves me feeling so blessed to do what I do.  I leave our conversations with so much excitement to give them a meaningful experience as they prepare for their life changes and our special time together.

The beauty of a family is that it starts with two; you choose each other and walk side by side in this journey of life not really knowing what’s to come.  The hardships, the decisions, the good and the bad, not really sure of the outcome.  And yet, you navigate it all, together, and come out stronger than ever before.  The beautiful life moments you will want to remember and preserve as your family grows and changes with each passing day is what I love to photograph.

Last night, I met with the sweetest couple who are joyfully preparing to welcome their first born soon!  So looking forward to photographing them at the end of the month before they become a family of three!  And tonight, I am photographing a beautiful family who are about to celebrate their son turning one and their first year of parenthood!

Capturing life in all its glory and preserving these moments for the future, it's a beautiful day!
