This morning I woke up, no different from any other weekend, excited to tackle my weekend to-do list.
1. Import pictures for client delivery blog post.
2. Brainstorm and create questions for upcoming client newborn session.
3. Call Nana to catch up and talk about her week.
4. Make plans with my girlfriend for her birthday.
But, I was stopped in my own tracks as I imported pictures I took last weekend when we were at my parents house watching UCONN {insert me jumping up and down}!!! GO UCONN!!
As I imported the pictures, I had NO idea my heart would drop as I looked through the images of my Father, "Pop" and my six month old niece, Chloe.
I stopped.
I stared.
I teared up.
I got butterflies.
THESE are the moments. This is WHY I love photography. These are the moments that make my heart burst with happiness.
The connection between a Granddaughter and her "Pop". She makes him crack up. He makes her giggle. He jokes with her and they hold special conversations. He holds her like he held my Sister, Brother and I. Precious moments captured. All moments that make me beyond excited to share!
So my weekend to-do list quickly changed. I had no intention on doing a blog post today but had to share these moments! To share why I love photography. This is WHY!
