I can't say enough amazing words about this sweet family! When this beautiful mother contacted me over the summer, she and her husband wanted to celebrate their son's first birthday with meaningful photographs of them as a family of three, their first family portraits together to hang on the walls in their new home!

The last time I saw Kelly was when we were teenagers in high school on the basketball court at Northwest Catholic in West Hartford--and man she was a superstar! I just loved seeing her again after all these years now as a mother! There were many times throughout our session that she took my breath away seeing her so happy while holding her son and laughing with her husband.

When we sat at my house for our session consultation, we caught up, talked about life after high school, college, jobs, our families, joked about how fun it would be if we were all back in high school again today as adults! I loved hearing how she and her husband Bryan met and how they feel in love. She shared how motherhood has taught her so much about living in the moment and appreciating the small things in life.

Kelly and Bryan have deep family values. Their session location reminded them of where they vacation as a family in New Hampshire. Kelly is full of so much kindness, faith, appreciation, and love for those around her and Bryan has a wonderful heart and is head over heels in love with his beautiful bride.

There were so many tender and fun moments throughout their session. They laughed, hugged, and kissed their son with all their might, first-time parents so proud and so in love with their blue-eyed blessing, who turns one today!

I couldn't think of a more perfect way to start the month of September than with this fabulous family! Here are a few of my favorites from their session!
